Marci is an expert on happiness, success and unconditional love, and I bet you have more than one of her books in your personal library. Her international bestsellers include Love for No Reason and Happiness for No Reason, and she’s a featured in the book and film The Secret. Her first big project was being co-author of Chicken Soup for the Woman’s Soul, in fact, it was Marci’s idea to turn the Chicken Soup phenomenon into a series. Her total book sales are over 15 million and have been translated into 33 languages, making her one of the top non-fiction writers of all time. You are going to love the story of how Marci found her calling and developed these life-changing books.
Marci is one of those people who always knew what she wanted to do with her life. When she was 13, she attended a seminar taught by the legendary life-coach Zig Ziglar, and as she watched him walk on the stage, she saw a picture of her future as a motivational speaker. Although she knew where she wanted to go, it took Marci a long time to get there. Even after she became a corporate trainer, with clients like AT&T and General Motors, she was plagued by low self-esteem issues that ultimately led her to a journey of healing and self-discovery.
In our conversation, she told me why becoming a (very reluctant!) student of silent meditation changed her life, and how, even though she became a best-selling author, she used to hate writing.
On this edition of Glambition radio, you’ll hear how Marci never gave up on her own happiness, and the formula she personally uses that can change your life. She shares a lot of really great advice, and lessons learned that you can start using in your business (and life) right now.
