Are you ready to ROCK? School of Rock CEO Dzana Homan’s life story is living proof that if you have an entrepreneurial spirit, you can accomplish anything. She came to America as a refugee, spoke no English and had no money, and today she’s leading one of the fastest growing franchises in the world.
On this week’s episode of Glambition Radio, you’ll hear all about Dzana’s incredible journey and how it inspired her to promote franchise models that are changing the way children learn music in their own hometowns.
With more than 150 schools throughout the U.S., Canada, Latin America, and other countries, School of Rock is the leader in performance-based after school music education. Students learn from professional musicians in an interactive environment combining weekly one-on-one lessons with structured group rehearsals culminating in a live performance in front of real crowds in real rock venues. (It’s the kind of music school WE wish we had as kids! Instead of that dorky piano teacher.)
In the nine months Dzana has been the company’s CEO she’s launched 26 new franchises and plans on expanding to 40 next year. But this position comes with a price—she’s on the road constantly and she says all franchise owners have her mobile phone number.
