Agapi Stassinopoulos on Glambition Radio with Ali Brown

When I first met Agapi Stassinopoulos in New York City in 1999, I saw instantly she was one of those women who light up a room. Her joy was contagious and inspiring. And her new book shares how she lives – wait, no… chooses to live – each and every day. So we had to get her on the show!

On this week’s episode of Glambition Radio, Agapi shares the wisdom and personal journey behind her new book, “Wake Up to the Joy of You: 52 Meditations and Practices for a Calmer, Happier Life.“ It’s a transformational guide to giving up what doesn’t work and creating the life you really want.

Agapi and her sister Arianna Huffington were brought up in Greece, a culture that celebrates life. But, it wasn’t until Agapi was a struggling actress in New York City that she discovered the first step towards living a life of pure joy – when a stranger told her to ‘stop waiting for her big break and make things happen for herself’. The words changed Agapi’s life and set her on a spiritual journey to create a life filled with grace, meaning, zest, peace, and joy.

Hear Agapi describe the bedtime ritual that makes her grateful to wake up every morning in her Glambition Radio interview here.

Agapi has written four books and inspires people all over the world with her warmth and wisdom – but it’s her mother’s words that still drive her towards happiness every day:  “Don’t miss the moment.” She has learned that regret is the biggest hurdle to joy, but if you make yourself present, then life is magnificent.

On this episode of Glambition Radio, Agapi and I bond over the joy of singing our own song, talk emotional sidestepping, and connect to the magic and stardust in our souls. I know you’ll get a lot out of this episode. So head over to iTunes and listen to this episode of Glambition Radio now (or download for later).

Love and Success,
