My friend and past client JJ Virgin, fitness expert and four-time NY Times best-selling author, accomplishes everything she sets out to do. But, when a brutal hit-and-run car accident threatened her son’s life, she turned into an unstoppable force. Miraculously, JJ stared down every mother’s worst nightmare and saved her son’s life.
On this week’s episode of Glambition Radio, JJ and I talk intimately about her family’s pain, standing up to doctors, and why she was compelled to open up in her new book, “Miracle Mindset: A Mother, Her Son, & Life’s Hardest Lessons.”
The first night at the hospital, doctors gave Grant less than a 25% chance of survival and diagnosed irreparable brain damage. JJ’s instincts told her to overrule the doctors and put up a fight. Over the years, she explored all types of alternative medicine and brought in every positive thinking medical professional – until Grant beat the odds. You’ll hear how JJ faced the unthinkable, tapped into her inner strength, and brought about a miracle.
JJ was hesitant to share the personal details of Grant’s recovery. But, the more she wrote and the deeper she went into her story, the more she learned about herself and the development of her own “Miracle Mindset.”
(By the way, there is a moving documentary about JJ and Grant’s story here that’s free to watch for a limited time. Grab some tissues and prepare to be moved!)
On this episode of Glambition Radio, JJ and I discuss the positivity of being vulnerable, scaring yourself, and the ripple effect. I know you’ll get a lot out of this episode. So head over to iTunes and listen to this episode of Glambition Radio now (or download for later).
P.S. Again, you probably also want to go watch that documentary here now before it’s taken down.
